The Gates

Welcome to the Gates. There are three major physical entry points to the realm, but the Gates are the main physical entry point to the realm. The Gates are routinely monitored with the highest in advanced technology and guarded ruthlessly by Cerberus himself.

The Gates tend to be a popular entry point for runaway slaves, making it a high traffic entrance.

The Gates stretches across the main mountain range to the north of Styx with rocky volcanic landscaping that grows higher with the mountains and tapering off on the other side to Helheim. While the population of this area may not be high in terms of residents, it still is home to some very important individuals, such as the guardian of the Gates himself, Cerberus, and his family. Just a few miles east will reveal the old nesting grounds of Hades himself, now currently occupied by Kratos, Greek god of strength.

Two small villages run the length of the Gates, Physis, and Drengr, home to mainly long time residents and military personnel, with minimal markets and shops in order to maintain the privacy of its residents.

Two major roads, Davka and Kyrios, will take individuals from the Gates, through the local villages, and directly into Styx. All other roads are unmarked, unnamed, and mainly used by locals.
